Quick Access On-the-Go

An ambidextrous side access pocket with hidden zipper tracks on the left and right to allow quick, on-body access to your essentials.

Unobstructed Top-Down Access

A swooped-back zipper on the top half ensures ease of top down access to items in the clam-shell main compartment.

Balanced Construction

Fully lined with a 210D ripstop nylon, and a 840D Nylon outer shell that balances weight and rigidity, with padding only where necessary to minimize bulk.

Useful backpack!

It has an ideal configuration of size, pockets, and zippers for commuting and overnight business trips.

The separate laptop pocket is especially convenient when you want to take out only the laptop.

When you need to store a wet jacket, or pack clothes for an overnight stay, the clamshell-opening main compartment makes it easy.

The vertical zip pocket gives the bag a clean and streamlined appearance.

The scratch-resistant fabric is also a positive feature.

The top accessory pocket is quite small, so it would have been better if it were a bit larger.

I have used various backpacks around 20 liters, but this “Toshi backpack” is particularly easy to use.

The perfect onebag backpack

I had been scouring r/onebag for months trying to find the perfect bag for my needs. Ended up going with the Toshi and the CPL16 as I travel extremely light and don't need much more space. Loved the CPL16 aesthetics, but holy cow is that thing not comfortable compared to the Toshi. Thick straps and a harness system that is designed for a human back is why I went with the Toshi. Overall a very usable bag. One thing that isn't noted on their site is the fact that as you unzip the main compartment the zippers naturally stop at a point to make it act as a normal top loader or half zip. Fantastic design feature if you need to get something out of the main compartment.

The one thing I'll knock it on is the interior color. Perhaps for manufacturing it was the cheapest for them, but having a more fun and less business like interior color would be nice. And maybe some other easy way to customize it. But at the end of the day it got a 98/100 for me. Great job guys!

The hilarious thing about this bag- I’ve transferred over all my various other backpack bits and pieces which would normally account for about 70% capacity in the other one. With this one, they all go into pockets and outside compartments so the main bit is totally empty!
