OUR STANCE ON DESIGN

Our design process strikes a balance at the intersection of these four factors: function, form, construction, and price.

We will never claim that our designs are "the best" or "the perfect" as these are subjective and elusive standards. Our philosophy centers on defining clear objectives for each product and making decisions tailored to those goals, acknowledging that solutions are not one-size-fits-all.

Designed in California, From Singapore

We are based in San Francisco, California, but originally from Singapore. As Singaporeans, we are practical and brutally honest.

I have a background in data analytics, which makes me the "business" person at Rework. Zhi on the other hand is our product designer since his background is in Mechanical Engineering. And... we're siblings!

We feel there is a disproportionate focus on "premium" in the bag industry where we're trending towards excessively technical materials and construction that are unnecessary in our bags. We created Rework with the intention of putting practicality back on the table.
