Stabilizing Strap

Perfect for when I take my Toshi 5Lwith me on my bike. Stops the sling from sliding off my back. Also good to have the option to stow it away when not in use.

It’s a nice idea but in practice, the point where it attaches to the strap of the sling causes it to fold over on itself unless you are able to get the positioning perfect. Also, it seems the attachment point should be on the loops at the back of the bag but that forces you to wrap the strap around the bottom of the bag if you want to stow it away in the magnetic flap pocket.

This stabilizing strap is simple and does it's job! A few things for a future version - I'm a mid-large sized man, and something that extends further would be much appreciated. I was 50/50 on whether I would return it, as it makes for a very snug fit, accentuating some of my less-than-ideal proportions, and requires very specific placement to work at all. Something to think about!

Additionally, I would love to see some sort of improvement to the portion which snaps onto the strap of the bag. I find that it regularly bunches the strap up and looks awkward, in addition to putting more pressure on my skin.

I was really excited when I saw the videos about the Toshi Sling and the ability to add-on a stabilizing strap. I find this feature really valuable in sling bags and not many slings have it. So, I can appreciate Rework thinking about this accessory because it solves the problem of keeping the bag on your back when doing active things like biking, running, navigating a theme park, etc. Their implementation of the stabilizing strap is especially nice because it attaches to anchor points that are already on the bag for the umbrella straps and it stashes away nicely in the magnetic puch that they created. Basically, a very nice upgrade to your Toshi Sling and I end up using it more than I'd think. Great addition!
