Toshi Sling 5L

This bag replaced my Aer Day Sling 3. Pocketing and overall layout is well thought out. Love how every pocket sort of stacks on top of the space below it, using up the vertical space of the bag efficiently. The rear zip pocket is a must on a bag like this and this one has plenty of space for valuables. Being able to adjust the strap layout is such a nice touch. Most of all the straps on the bottom!! Just genius and probably the most versatile feature of this bag.

Only things I would like to see in a version 2 would be an internal zip pocket (just stick it in the read divider like the Day Sling does. A top handle, and maybe making it like an inch or two longer so nerds can put their steam decks in it.

Overall just a brilliant bag!

I have had the Rework Toshi Sling 5L for about a month now. I have put it through the ringer, and here is my thoughts so far:

First off, WOW! This sling belongs on the Mount Rushmore of slings! Check that, Mount Rushmore of BAGS! I have been carrying it to work every day. Carrying mostly my wallet, sunglasses, medicine, earpods, phone, and a few tech items. Basically a wallet on my shoulder. It has impressed me so much, I took this bad boy to the beach for a week and this little dude had more fun than me! The material is so durable, maluable, and just an overall badass. Each day I had it loaded out with my wallet, phone, backup sunglasses, bottle of sunscreen, long sleeve shirt for when sun got too brutal, and an extra backup shirt. Plus several other items. This thing still had more room! It's like a bottomless pit. I carried it evey day to the beach, to the pool, back to the beach, etc. You get the picture. It got a little wet at times. It got a little sandy at times. Super easy to clean, and still looks brand new.

You truly cannot appreciate the quality of the materials until you have it in hand. This sling feels premium in every way. The Rework Toshi sling 5L is definitely in my top 5 purchases of all time!

I was worried about the sling being too bulky when I first received it, but it is really light and lies pretty flat when not filled much. I love the versatility of the key ring placement, strap placement, and hideable compression straps. The number of pockets is perfect, and especially love that there is a back pocket. The only thing I wish for is a thinner strap option because I find the regular straps (including the smooth strap) too wide. The strap ends up coming too close to my neck for comfort. However, I can easily replace the straps with my own thanks to the universal gatekeepers. I can't wait to use this for my travels!

I love how the sling looks and all the little details it contains that make wearing it a nice experience!

I got lots of stares using this bag. People were very curious about it especially the suspension cords at the bottom. They are very functional! I took this bag to London with my water flask held by the suspension cords. I love how this bag gives me freedom to customize my gear load. Very stylish as well. I love how the main compartment is dual zipped and the pockets are just right, not too much organization. And the huge main compartment is amazing! I will be taking this to my next travels.

Traveled to Kauai and NYC with it. Also use it as my daily sling. Love the placement of pockets (which allow bulkier to rest on the bottom of the sling without intrusion) and the amount of space. All four zippered compartments are well-thought out - I especially appreciate the sunglasses compartment. The Toshi sling's water resistant materials held up against some intense, sudden NYC rainstorms. The sling when somewhat full, never felt bulky, and it stayed flat against my body. My only non-positive comment (and it might be more my fault) is that the bottom compression straps don't tightly hold a smooth surfaced water vessel - my plastic travel bottle kept slipping out. Overall, a great product at a reasonable price.
