Very comfortable, perfect size, easy and quick access, it seems like a lot of thought was put into Toshi.
Some reviews say it lacks a handle, from experience with other products, a handle prevents easy access to the zippers and just makes everything more cumbersome.
I was looking for a Travel sling to take on our vacation adventure's. With so many sling bags out there it was hard to choose. I was attracted by this small business whick I found on YouTube. The sling bag had many of the features I thought were important to my travel needs. Like many of the other bags on the market it looked very similar with one difference, it's pockets were well thought out and offered real organization in the main pocket that optimized every inch to fit and have access the contents. I always carry a pair on noise cancelling over ear headphones for the plane ride. I was able to fit my Sony XM4 foldable headphones in the main pocket with room for other in flight gear. I loaded it out for a trip down to Cancun and it fit all my essentials with room to spare. Well made solid construction and very functional for travel or everyday carry. Well done.
I own a few slings, but the versatility of this Toshi sling is like no other! I am so excited to use this sling on my trip to Asia. I can underpack my carry on, but when it comes to slings, I have anything and everything. This sling fits it all no problem!
I bought two slings at the same time from different brands, and ended up making this one my daily carry. The interior is spacious but when not filled it easily flattens instead of being bulky. The material isn't my favorite, as it shows a wrinkly appearance, but it is light and flexible, which is a benefit. Added the sling strap since the original strap is quite scratchy. Lots of little loops inside that you can hook things to.
I have been using the Toshi Sling 5L for more than a month now. I love the organizational layout with good space-efficiency and laying, which give it a slim profile. It is lightweight and compact for a 5L sling. The material feels good and durable too. The only thing missing is a top grab handle. I have improvised by removing the the black handle from a paper bag and tie a loop on the two horizontal strap mounts which I never use (see photo). It looks stealth and serves its purpose.
