The Goldilocks of Backpacks

I've used this backpack for commuting, going around the city, and travel as a personal item, and it's checked off so many boxes in all of those circumstances. The self-standing feature, while not 100% perfect, is quite good. I love the front admin pocket and how much it can store, and the bag easily adapts from carrying just a few items to holding multiple laptops and tech items. It's slightly smaller than I would have liked in general (like so many others a 24-26L would be great), but this does fit/compresses within smaller personal item size requirements so that is a benefit of being this size. The ambidextrous pocket is useful, although it is limited in what it can carry because it is not very big. Overall, this backpack does a great job at being just right for just about any situation.

Love the Bag!

I just love my new Toshi Pack 20L It looks very smart, is well designed and sits high up on my back making it feel light on my shoulders. It's ideal for everyday office use or if going to a meeting with enough room for my gym kit too. The various compartments are well thought out making it easy to access the things I hangs up very nicely from a hook on my bedroom door instead of lying around on the floor. I expect to use it on my next holiday as a cabin bag too which I think it just about the size.

A well-balanced backpack with solid quality

I’ve been using this backpack for about a month, and it has met nearly all of my needs: dual side pockets, a thick and soft handle and shoulder straps, a detachable sternum strap, and an internal layout with a decent number of compartments and pockets—more than enough for commuting. When packed properly, the backpack can also stand upright on its own, which is a nice touch.

The only drawback is that the strap adjusters don’t seem to hold the shoulder straps securely in place—they tend to slip, requiring me to readjust the length frequently.

Overall, a great backpack with just a small issue. I’d rate it 4.5 stars.

Took over as my daily work and commute pack

Just the right amount of space and organization for my regular work daily driver. I have a 16" MacBook pro, but I also like to carry my headphones, notebook, and pens. There's still plenty more room leftover, which definitely makes me feel confident I could use this as a travel pack when the time comes without getting too bulky. Love having water bottle pockets on both sides so I can have a water bottle and umbrella with me.

Great Bag!

I love the look and comfort of of the Toshi 20L. It's so classy and sleek looking, and it feels much more comfortable to wear than other more expensive bags I've tried. The 840D nylon looks and feels great, and the padding in the back panel is awesome! I also love the zippers. There are a few things I would like to see improved in terms of functionality though:

1. It's a little light on pockets. I would love to see a 2nd pocket in the main compartment, as well as a pocket at the top of the tech compartment.

2. I wish the zipper on the pocket in the main compartment was at the top of the compartment instead of in the middle. I like to keep my foldable keyboard in there, but I keep having to fiddle with the top side to make it fit around the keyboard. I can't just drop it in and zip it up.

3. I find it most comfortable to place my laptop in the rear-most sleeve of the tech compartment, but I wish that sleeve was slightly more suspended like the other sleeve in that compartment.

4. I'm not a huge fan of the ambidextrous front compartment. It's nice in theory, but it's a small compartment with small openings, and it's kinda hard to fit the things in there that make the most sense to put in there.

5. I don't love the sternum strap. It's really thin, the clap is difficult to align quickly, and I find that I have to keep readjusting it downward because it keeps sliding up on my chest.

6. I wish there was just one dedicated pen pocket in the top front compartment, though I can still hook a pen onto one of the bigger pockets.

7. I find the shoulder straps to be unnecessarily thick and a bit stiff (though not as stiff as another bag I tried). For a bag this size, it just seems unnecessary and takes a little away from the comfort.

Despite these minor annoyances, this a great bag. I just wish it was offered in a slightly bigger size...maybe a 24L or 26L. I hope that's coming soon.
