A swooped-back zipper on the top half ensures ease of top down access to items in the clam-shell main compartment.

My Go-To Everyday Backpack

I’ve been using the Tosche 20L backpack every day, and I really love it.

The seller was incredibly kind and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. This bag is exactly the kind of backpack I’ve been looking for — it meets all my needs in terms of design, practicality, and everyday use. I can really see myself using it for a long time.

The design is very clean and minimal — no visible logo, which I really appreciate. It looks simple but also polished enough to carry in more formal settings, which makes it super versatile for both school and work.

The size is perfect for me. It’s practical without being bulky, and all the compartments feel thoughtfully designed and actually useful. Compared to other backpacks I’ve had, this one doesn’t feel oversized or heavy — it sits comfortably on my back and doesn’t look like I’m carrying a huge load.

Excellent EDC pack

This backpack is really all you need for everyday commutes. It holds all my work gear (laptop, headphones, notebooks), my lunch (mid-sized Tupperware) AND my gym clothes and shoes.

The material feels like high quality and the pack is comfortable to carry. I particularly love the self standing feature, the top down nature of the zips and the ambidextrous easy-access pockets.

Ideal work edc

Brought the bag following strong reviews ideal for my work edc needs when I need to carry more than just laptop and charger good for overnight when a change of clothes is needed of trip to the gym after work.

This may be my perfect backpack

This may be my perfect backpack.

The main opening likes to stop itself at a top-down point before opening all the way clamshell. That's so perfect for an EDC/travel bag.

The other pockets are well placed and exactly what I look for.

Personally, I think the straps are a bit too thick, but expecting them to break in and mold a bit over time.

My Back Thanks You

I'm a short guy (5'1"/1.55m) and my old backpack was killing my back. With an upcoming trip to California, I started doing research on a backpack that was kind to shorties, well organized and not break my bank. Reddit's r/onebag recommended the Toshi and the rest is history. Best backpack I've ever owned. Also bought the Toshi 5L sling, love it too!

My Go-To Bag for Work

Waited a few months to write this review and I can confirm, this has been my go-to bag for work. Some context: I get in my car, hop on the train, and then walk about half a mile to my office. Rinse and repeat. This bag out of the box looked small at first. I was a bit worried. But it has been able to hold everything I carry - laptop, lunch, notebook, tech kit, huge water bottle, keys, wallet, and headphones. My favorite thing about this bag is how comfortable it is.

There was one day where I decided to use another bag to switch things up and the walk to the office was not fun. That bag felt heavy (with all the same gear) and not comfortable. So I went back to the Toshi pack and have not felt the urge to switch things up again after that lesson. The bag has also broken in nicely. Still has good structure and protection and overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend. Most comfortable bag in my collection.
