Staying true to the V1 design, it keeps essentials within one zip away and intuitively organizes both bulky and small items. V2 introduces a more structured main fabric, a softer strap for comfort, and a highly requested top handle — thoughtful updates that preserve what users loved while refining the carry experience.

Inspired by Tokyo
During our travels in Tokyo, we were inspired by the understated yet reliable infrastructure of the city. These qualities resonate with our approach to design and our vision of creating gear that is functional with low-key aesthetics, fully culminating in the Toshi Series.

Expands and Packs Flat
Extra care to ensure that its silhouette looks good whether it is packed to full capacity or flat with only a few items in it.
Space efficient Design
A flat rectangular base to maximize every inch of space at the bottom. The use of suspended pockets keep smaller items on top of bulky items, and out of the "crush zone".
Focus on Construction
Materials and hardware chosen carefully to maintain abrasion and weather resistance while keeping the sling relatively light.
Customize Your Way
Customizable strap configuration to suit your carry style. Modular key leash allows you to choose where your keys go.
Stay Secure
Keep your sling firmly in place with our stabilizing strap (sold separately), designed for active commuters who demand a reliable and secure carrying solution.

Just the right size for daily use and/or travel.
- Nice level of organization.
- Zippers and pulls are very smooth and easy to grab.
- Good amount of space - bottle + UV jacket and couple of small items (hard to access, but it fits). However, the compartment for the sunglasses becomes very tight and could deform the sunnies. :/
- Straps for umbrella (or whatever you wish) is great and one of my favourite features.
- Stabilizing strap will definitely come in handy.
Some changes I'd like to see:
- The design/stitching creates extra material at the front, resulting in ugly folds and creasing (maybe during shipment) which may/may not be permanent. I wish the design resulted in clean creases so this ugliness didn't happen.
- Under storage for the extra straps (and stabilizing strap) is secured with magnets that aren't very strong. I would have preferred another mechanism. (Also, not sure how the magnets might affect any electronics you carry in the sling - I assume they have tested for this.)
- Sunglasses compartment is not lined with any soft fabric. That would have been nice touch, but not a big deal.
i really like it, holds a water bottle and plenty more. really good size for me; its just like a bookkeepers bag but smaller - which i like. all in all, its a good bag in an undersaturated niche.
This is the most thought out bag I’ve ever owned. There is not an engineer alive that wouldn’t love this bag. The pockets are the perfect size and in the perfect locations. I can find what I need quickly and without having to take it off and fumble around in a large compartment. For EDC it collapses a bit around fewer things, which is nice, but then for travel it fully packs out to carry all the things and is all I need for the plane. For example, I had a water bottle and bottle of juice and there was STILL room in the main compartment for my 11” iPad. I can put two pairs of glasses in the top zip pocket and pull them out quickly. The back pocket fits my phone and keys and the front pocket holds my diabetes supplies. I especially like the two short pockets inside the main compartment for my AirPods and cash. Love it!
Best sling I own , and i own alot . Looking forward to using it for my Japan flights and city explorations .
I will start with the disclaimer that this is my first official sling bag. I've used messenger bags in the past.
Overall I really like this bag, the Toshi Sling 5L V2. The flexibility, the lower straps, the organization. But there are a few things which could be improved.
1. The umbrella straps (or whatever you call them) are very hard to attach, meaning I never bother putting them away, which is a shame as I like that feature.
2. The bag when loaded doesn't quite sit right on the front or back as it slides just a bit too far to one side. I suppose the stabalizer strap could help with this.
3. The main strap is a bit longer than I think it needs to be, at least if it's meant to be used as a sling. This means that, at least in my case, it is mostly doubled up about 85% of the strap.
4. I wouldn't mind a little padding at the bottom of the sling.
I mostly bought the 5L for travel and carrying my Fujifilm X-T5, which barely fits, sideways with a lens. (can't use a grip extension or tripod plate). But for everyday carry, I am thinking I may grab the 2.5L.
