Compact, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed

I purchased the Toshi Sling 5L V2 looking for a compact bag for everyday use, and it has exceeded my expectations.

The size is ideal—small enough to stay lightweight but spacious enough to carry all my daily essentials like my phone, wallet, keys, power bank, earbuds, and a few extras. The internal organisation is well thought out, so everything has its place and is easy to access.

Comfort is another highlight. The strap sits nicely on the shoulder and feels secure even after wearing it for long periods. The materials feel durable and premium, and the zippers are smooth and reliable. I also appreciate the clean, minimal design—it looks great whether I’m out casually or running errands.

If I had to nitpick, an extra small internal pocket would be nice, but that’s a very minor point.

Overall, this is a practical, well-made sling that strikes a great balance between function and style. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable everyday carry bag.

Excellent Sling Bag

Very happy with my Toshi 5L V2 so far. It’s thoughtful designed, constructed of premium durable material, and very comfortable to wear. I can’t wait to put it to its paces when I take it into the city for a full day of exploring. I love having all of the key essentials on my person at all times now. It’s spacious and ready to go when I need it!

I've tried a lot of different slings and found the Toshi 5L V2 an excellent fit for my needs. I use it for traveling and as an EDC bag. The fit is comfortable and it has great storage capacity. It does a good job of keeping everything organized with the different slots and pockets inside. At first I thought it was too big but it is so comfortable to wear I don't notice I'm carrying it. Overall an excellent, well made sling.

The Dream Sling

I waited a long time for version 2 to drop, as I found out about this bag after the initial run sold out. Upon receiving the bag, I tested it out in a variety of situations. The side release strap, or main strap, is quite comfortable. In most cases, the fit is snug enough to where some people may not find the stablizing strap necessary, but it does indeed add an extra sense of security. This was especially noticeable when using this strap and adjusting the fit during bike rides or strenous walks. I was also impressed at how seamless the transition is from "stablizer pack mode" to "regular EDC bag mode." While it took me awhile to figure out my ideal strap configuration, once you do, the bag becomes a seamless dream. The design of the bag's main compartment keeps all my items organized and compact. The addition of extra pockets is nice and the added top strap is okay. While some water bottles do slip from the compression straps, using a unique bottle shape or manipulating the straps can help. The main compartment can also host a small to medium sized bottle.

Overall, I'm quite impressed with the feel and design of the bag. I've cycled through quite a few different types of slings and this is by far the best. I look forward to taking the bag with me for overseas travel and I hope that this company develops a larger travel bag some day.

Perfect companion for adventures

The material of this bag is really sturdy, this is going to be perfect for all kinds of adventures! I can fit all essentials + a book for a day out, + my watercolour pallette, collapsable cup and brushes for a plein air session, store my jacket or water bottle in the straps and off I go. It's so well made, I'm going to enjoy using it for a long long time!
