Toshi Sling 5L V2

Happy to received it before my vacation trip to Mexico. Selling points 1. a) Having 4 zippered compartments with the main one being very roomy if need be and squishes flat when empty so it’s not obscenely puffy. 1. b) Was able to fit my Apple iPhone XS in the zippered compartment that can supposedly hold your sunglasses…quick access…wanted a separate compartment just for my iPhone so nothing falls out. 1. c) Back of sling has zippered compartment for more security. 2. It’s NOT TPU coated…wanted something more durable and long lasting as TPU coating can flake/disintegrate.

Overall, I did my in-depth research of other best selling slings and I’m happy with my purchase and waiting on the 2.5L V2 sling to be available. Material feels fantastic, strap was comfy enough, the zippered compartments and the functionality of the sling itself was the main reason of purchase and future purchases.

Cons: shipping fee and got hit with custom fee. (Canada…what can be done, eh)

Was thinking about this sling for a good while before purchasing regardless of the “cons” and glad I did as I love it…can’t wait to use it more often…not a regret purchase.

I bought this sling mainly because many football stadiums now employ an A4 size-limit rule for people wishing to bring a bag and the Toshi 5l fits the bill perfectly.

However, it was a great buy in more ways than its size. It’s comfortable to wear, easy to adjust and it’ has good capacity. The main compartment is surprisingly spacious (it easily accommodates my Fuji X-Pro3) and it has a good number of different sized pockets to hold stuff, ranging from my Kindle to smaller items that usually clog up my pockets. I also appreciate the smaller compartment in the front, where I keep my smartphone, and the pocket at the rear for valuables. I haven’t tried it in bad weather yet but I don’t foresee any issues; the build quality seems to be really good.

So far then, I’m really pleased with my purchase and I think I’ll get a lot of use with it. As well as football away-days, I suspect it will replace the backpack I use for day trips to the city. It can easily hold all the items I really need and it provides a less heavy, less bulky option. It really looks like it is going to be a good investment.

A great product. I love the simple yet extremely creative and detailed design work. I use this for travel and it handles the loose items I throw at it. The internal mesh pockets are extremely useful. I haven't seen another sling like this with the bottom compression straps that actually stay hidden when not in use. I don't often write reviews but this one just seems like near perfection and a sling I truly enjoy owning. Can't recommend this product enough.

Excellent sling. Outer pockets are ideal for easy access and the inner dividers/pocket keep your EDC items well organised. A very well thought out sling. Can highly recommend.

Really enjoy using it. Good organisation. Comfortable strap. Clever hidden pocket to store the bottle strap.

I did purchase this after using a 6 litre sling for iver six months now .
One for my partner .
I wished I’d bought another 6 litre sling as I find this 5 is a tad small for quick access.
Maybe I’m just used to the 6 sling.

I’m using the 5 now to wear it in before our trip o/seas and I’m sure it will still do a great job - no extra net compartments in the front pouch in the 5.

Such a well thought out and beautifully designed bag.
I won’t be ever going back to a handbag after my 6 sling.
