I’ve looked at countless ads, Reddit threads, videos, etc. searching for the perfect sling. Last summer (2025), I found this one, but didn’t click buy cause it didn’t have a top carry grab handle. It’s such a simple thing, but I knew I’d want to hang the bag on the back of a chair or on a hook without the length of the crossbody strap. So I went with a different sling. Guess what? It was too small. Went up a little in size with a different one, and it completely lacked any internal organization. Finding anything small in the relatively small bag was a quest. I also realized that I wanted the sling to be able to carry a book and a small water bottle. The one I had could only carry one, not both. But trying to find a sling that could carry both, yielded slings that maybe had a similar carry capacity (5L), but then they LOOKED bulky, and I knew they would do that sliding thing bulky slings do (esp for women) where they don’t stay put and you constantly have to adjust them as you where them. Finally, I just did a search for “small sling with lots of pockets” and this was one of the results. I suddenly remembered the first version of this bag from last summer, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they actually listened to their customers and made simple yet efficient changes like the top carry strap! I liked the look of it, too: simple yet modern with the angled zippered tabs. And it had a slim profile but still looked like it could hold everything I needed to (book, water bottle) and more.
Best purchase ever. This bag fits an 8 oz water bottle and my current read (a 576-page paperback), plus a small bottle of Lidocaine (my kid is a dancer), a travel sunscreen, a tin of mints, Shokz Open Run behind-the-ear headphones, and so much more. And it does it without ever looking bulky! The organization of this bag is incredible: love the sunglasses pocket, plus the outside pocket, the key leash (I moved mine to the outside pocket because they brilliant put attach loops in both pockets) and all the little webbing and internal pockets. The organization is truly a Type-A person’s dream. I haven’t even used the back outside pocket, and I’m super excited to try the hidden lash straps for a small umbrella. I get giddy thinking about the fact that I haven’t even neared this bag’s full capability!
The material of the bag isn’t scratchy either, like some water resistant materials, so that was a pleasant surprise! And the strap is super soft, which I love because you wind up touching it more than you think (neck, hands).
And here’s the BEST part: This is the first sling bag I’ve ever used that doesn’t do the swing thing. Something about the placement of the crossbody strap and points of contact on the bag make this weight distribution perfect. It stays put! This seems so simple, and yet, no other bag has ever done this.
Truly the absolute perfect sling. If you guys do a version 3, please don’t change anything other than perhaps offering more colors!
